It’s almost Spring in Columbi-ja, and we’re here to celebrate! How? With fresh Bierkeller Columbia beer, fresh food, a traditional German fest, and some good old fashioned rock and roll (well, with some post-punk twists).
You already know — and love — our annual spring bockbier. So you’re almost automatically guaranteed to love our Bock and Roll Spring Fest. But…we’re never one to rest on our laurels, so….
We also have a second bockbier this year. Our super-refreshing Weißbier in Bock strength. Weizenbock! Think banana and clove but with an even bigger bread malt base and that same crisp, refreshing finish.
And you know what makes this all even better? The first 20 half liters are FREE! That’s korrekt, Columbi-ja. We’ll literally set the stage with our ceremonial tapping (or Anstich). Then, all you have to do is be stagefront to grab one of the first pours. It’s that simple. And a long standing tradition. So come early and secure your spot.
Then…bock (and other beers) will flow freely. And bands will rock. On that same stage. We’ll have 4 bands throughout the day. Many of them featuring members of our very own Bierkeller team. And WXRY, The Independent Alternative, will be broadcasting live to tell you all about it.
That’s all on Sunday from 12 until 8. We’ll keep the festivities going Sunday with a Weisswurst brunch, possible goat petting zoo (Bock means goat in German), and more fun. Look for a separate event page there, with details and more family-fun activities to come.
