The Black Keys cancelled all dates of their North American tour, save a NASCAR date in Chicago over the 4th of July holiday. The cancellation was done quietly without the typical announcement from the band, leaving fans to speculate the reason for the nixing of the tour in support of their new album Ohio Players.
For its part, promoter LiveNation has said that all purchased tickets will be refunded.
UPDATE: The band has posted that they are cancelling their arena tour and will be scheduling a North American tour in smaller venues.
